The rotor surface is embedded with neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB), a rare-earth permanent magnet material with high magnetic energy product and high coercivity, which generates a constant magnetic field permanently. This differs drastically from conventional asynchronous motors that rely on induced current in the stator to create magnetic fields. With an overload capacity of 2.0 to 2.5 times the rated load, it can easily handle impact loads caused by uneven feeding of the classifier.
