Recently, the first phase of the transmission research and industrialization project of Anhui VOOFU Permanent Magnet Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Wofu Permanent Magnet"), an investment enterprise of Hefei High-tech Investment, was successfully completed and passed the final inspection. After the project is completed, it will expand the company's production capacity and provide 200 new jobs for the society, effectively promoting the development of the surrounding industries.
VOOFU specializes in the research and development as well as sales of permanent magnet transmission and speed control equipment. It is one of the pioneers in this field in China. Its main products include ultra-high power permanent magnet speed regulators, permanent magnet couplers, and electric motors, which are widely used in industries such as steel, metallurgy, chemical engineering, power generation, cement, and coal. It has significant energy-saving effects and has numerous application cases. Its customers include several leading petrochemical, power, and cement groups in China. It has received investments from the High-tech Zone New Economic Development Fund, Emerging Industry Fund, and High Innovation Incubation Fund.
The first phase of the factory completed this time is located at No. 3169, Jimingshan Road, Nan'ang Science and Technology Park, Hefei. The total land area of this project is 19,804.03 square meters (approximately 29.71 acres), and the total construction area is 28,151.36 square meters. A total of 4 factory buildings will be constructed, with the first phase including Building 1, with an above-ground construction area of 6,447.29 square meters. After the completion and commissioning of this project, it will mainly engage in the research, production and sales of permanent magnet transmission equipment, and can produce 1,000 sets of permanent magnet couplings and 500 sets of permanent magnet speed regulators annually. It will be another new production site following the Shanghai production center.
