Wofu Permanent Magnet won the second prize in the 2020 Maker China Anhui Province Small and Medium sized Enterprise Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

On September 8th, the final of the 2020 "Maker China" Anhui Province Small and Medium sized Enterprise Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition ended in Hefei. The total number of registered projects for this competition is 611, covering 18 specialized fields such as intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, new energy, new materials, big health, and industrial design. After intense preliminary, semi-final, and final competitions, Anhui Wofu Permanent Magnet Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Wofu Permanent Magnet") won the second prize with a good score of third place in total.

The "Maker China" Anhui Province Small and Medium sized Enterprise Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been held for five consecutive sessions, becoming a source of vitality and an important link for Anhui's hierarchical cultivation of market entities such as "double innovation" ->growth oriented small and micro enterprises ->large-scale enterprises ->specialization, refinement, novelty ->singles champions. This competition is guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance, with the support of the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the cooperation of relevant departments, to jointly create a platform and channel for small and medium-sized enterprises and makers to exchange and display, connect production and finance, and incubate projects. During the competition, numerous excellent projects received attention and favor from investment and financing institutions. Wofu Permanent Magnet's "Wofu Permanent Magnet Transmission Project" has reached preliminary investment intentions with various investment and financing institutions based on its own advantages, and signed contracts on-site at the award ceremony.

The "Wofu Permanent Magnet Transmission Project" that participated in this competition fully demonstrates Wofu Permanent Magnet's strong technical research and development capabilities and advanced quality management level in the field of permanent magnet transmission from four dimensions: company overview, product introduction, core advantages, and planning prospects. Wofu Permanent Magnet has established industry university research cooperation with universities such as Hefei University of Technology and Suzhou University, and has made innovative breakthroughs in multiple technological fields. In competition with multiple domestic permanent magnet drive enterprises, there are over 1000 cases of energy-saving technology upgrades for motors in various fields such as electricity, metallurgy, chemical industry, cement, coal, steel, and military industry, with energy-saving rates generally reaching 20-50%, far exceeding the level of market peers.

The Wofu oil cooled permanent magnet governor can transmit loads ranging from 0 to 5000 kW and can perform stepless speed regulation of the load within a range of 30 to 97%. It has the characteristics of energy saving, high reliability, no rigid connection to transmit torque, can be applied in harsh environments, significantly reduces overall system vibration, reduces system maintenance, and extends system service life. Especially its excellent speed regulation characteristics of not generating high-order harmonics and not causing motor heating at low speeds make it suitable for energy-saving technology transformation of fans and pumps.

Wofu Permanent Magnet stood out among 611 participating teams and successfully won the second prize. This achievement not only affirms the company's technological research and development achievements over the years, but also clarifies its future development direction. As a national high-tech enterprise and provincial specialized and innovative enterprise that has been focusing on permanent magnet transmission for nearly a decade, we have regarded research and development technology and quality as the two lifelines of our enterprise's development since its establishment.
