 Permanent magnet drive technology is a groundbreaking new technology developed internationally in recent years, specifically designed for energy-saving speed regulation of centrifugal loads such as fans and pumps. It has the characteristics of effective energy saving, good reliability, no rigid connection to transmit torque, can be applied in harsh environments, reduces overall system vibration, reduces system maintenance, and extends system service life. Especially its characteristics of not generating high-order harmonics and not causing motor heating at low speeds, as well as its wide speed range, make it one of the choices for energy-saving technology transformation of fans and pumps.

At present, the permanent magnet governor adopts a cage type and multi disc structure design. A slight change in the dynamic balance of the 4-stage motor has little effect on the vibration of the entire system. However, at a high speed of 3000 revolutions per minute of the 2-stage motor, a slight change in the imbalance will be relatively amplified, and the problem of excessive vibration becomes more prominent as the speed increases.

       Based on the original design, the R&D personnel of Wofu Permanent Magnet Technology have made multiple improvements and tests, and finally adopted a half cage single disc structure design. On the basis of the existing structure, the complexity of the structure is reduced, the weight is reduced, and the vibration, noise, etc. are reduced, which can be applied to working conditions with high-speed requirements.

       In addition, the research and development team of Wofu Permanent Magnet has also developed a second design scheme, which adopts a simple single disk structure with better stability, less rotor imbalance, and can adapt to higher speed working conditions. Compared to the original structure, the weight of the rotor has been directly reduced by nearly two-thirds, simplifying the design of the structure. Under the condition of meeting the working conditions, the vibration and noise are lower, and it can be applied to working conditions with high-speed requirements.
