The "2025 Thermal Power Industry Energy Conservation and Consumption Reduction Green Low Carbon Transformation Technology Exchange Conference", guided by the China Energy Conservation Association, hosted by the Thermal Power Industry Committee of the China Energy Conservation Association, and organized by Anhui Wofu Permanent Magnet Technology Co., Ltd., is held here. In recent years, policy combinations have outlined a clear path for industry transformation: the "14th Five Year Plan for Modern Energy System" clearly states the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system; The construction of a new power system requires the thermal power industry to enhance its flexibility and intelligence level; The Action Plan for Low Carbon Transformation and Construction of Coal fired Power Plants (2024-2027) and the Implementation Plan for the New Generation Coal fired Power Upgrade Special Action (2025-2027) have refined the low-carbon transformation goals, and the new version of the Energy Consumption Limit for Unit Products of Coal fired Power Generation Units has forced the industry to upgrade with hard indicators.

Wu Yin, former deputy director of the National Energy Administration, emphasized in the theme report that "coal-fired power is shifting from being the 'main force of supply guarantee' to 'regulatory support', but the transformation is not about 'de coalification', but about achieving a green leap in existing units through technological innovation. Technological innovation in the thermal power industry should revolve around safety, efficiency, flexibility, low-carbon, economy, and intelligence, and achieve cross-border integration with new energy power through a spatiotemporal complementary mechanism, realizing dynamic two-way matching of load and energy." Hao Fei's speech report "Analysis of the Current Situation of Low Carbon Transformation and Construction and Reflections on the Development Plan of the National Energy Group" deeply reflects the vivid practice of central enterprises in exploring low-carbon transformation and upgrading. Xu Yujun from Anhui Branch of National Energy Group further interprets policy trends: "The capacity pricing mechanism and the construction of the electricity spot market will reconstruct the industry's profit model, and 'peak shaving capability' will be the core competitiveness in the future.

Professor Xiang Jun and his team from Huazhong University of Science and Technology have built the theoretical system of "flexible fuel intelligent combustion" for boilers for the first time, independently developed and successfully put into operation the world's first "small powder silo" ® Enhance flexible storage and supply systems. Dr. Zhang Xiaoyong from China Datang Corporation frankly stated that "the reconstruction of combustion organization requires interdisciplinary collaboration between thermodynamics, materials science, and artificial intelligence. Going it alone has become a thing of the past." In the field of carbon capture, the need for industrial chain collaboration is particularly urgent. Multiple companies are calling for the construction of a "capture transport storage utilization" full chain ecosystem. Just like building roads, only by breaking through all breakpoints can carbon resources truly flow, "said an expert metaphorically. Regarding this, Hao Fei from the National Energy Group revealed that the group has laid out demonstration projects of "green electricity green hydrogen green ammonia coal-fired power" and explored cross industry collaborative carbon reduction paths.

In the renovation project of expanding the 3 # unit of Zhenjiang Dagang Thermal Power Plant to a 15 MW unit, the comprehensive energy saving rate reached 39.0%, the coaxial comparison saved about 1.85 million yuan in electricity bills annually, saved 0.11 million tons of standard coal annually, and reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 0.32 million tons annually. Mr. Yu Zhuyan, Deputy General Manager of Wofu Permanent Magnet Technology, confirmed the technical effectiveness with data in the keynote report. Behind this achievement is the large-scale application of permanent magnet technology in nearly a thousand ultra high power motor units across the country, becoming the "standard engine" for energy-saving transformation in the industry.
