Permanent magnet transmission device is an emerging industrial energy-saving technology, based on the application of electromagnetic Lenz's law, and a revolutionary transmission equipment that transmits torque through the air gap. In many fields such as electricity, metallurgy, chemical engineering, cement, coal, steel, and military industry, there are many high-power motors with a power of over 1000kW. Traditional permanent magnet speed controllers have a power of less than 2000kW, but their heat dissipation can only reach 300kW. In the early development and design of water-cooled permanent magnet speed controllers, the equipment was mainly composed of two chambers, a water chamber and an oil chamber, which were sealed internally by a water oil seal in the middle. Due to the easy leakage of cooling water into the bearings, lubrication failure or oil carbonization of the bearings can occur, making them susceptible to damage; At the same time, water and oil cannot achieve complete dynamic sealing. Water will leak into the oil, and oil will also leak into the water. Butter is prone to emulsification. These issues have resulted in lower safety and reliability of water-cooled permanent magnet governors. After continuous improvement, Wofu innovatively invented an oil cooled permanent magnet governor, using thin oil as the cooling medium. Its advantage is that it effectively controls the temperature of the disc body while lubricating the bearings of the speed control mechanism. It not only reduces bearing wear, but also plays a role in surface rust prevention, effectively ensuring the overall operational stability and service life of the equipment.

  Recently, Wofu Permanent Magnet received an oil cooled permanent magnet governor WF-TW670 with a manufacturing date of September 2017, and returned it to the factory for maintenance. Let's take a look at the internal condition of this 6-year-old oil cooled permanent magnet governor

  The outer shell of the oil cooled permanent magnet governor WF-TW670 can be seen, and the nameplate has been weathered by wind and rain for 6 years, with obvious signs of erosion. However, the main body of the internal speed control mechanism and the inner wall of the box are still clean as new.

Continuing the disassembly, it can be seen that the permanent disk body, bearings, speed control mechanism, and housing are still clean as new, without any signs of rust, cracking, or other damage.

Coincidentally, at a certain maintenance site, a water-cooled permanent magnet speed controller with a manufacturing date of August 2015 was found to have multiple internal rusts and cracked disc bodies after disassembly.
